The vendor has kindly informed us of the following information on the bike: 1934 Monet et Goyon Brooklands TT 175cc Super Sports Historic French Motorcycle, this motorcycle is a 1934 Brooklands model 175cc Super Sports TT. It is an off the shelf racing motorcycle from 1934 built by the factory with racing mods such as the rear sets and dual exhausts. It runs on 2 stroke pre mix 25-1 however it has a separate oil tank with oil pump to feed additional oil directly to the engine when racing. This motorcycle was bought from the granddaughter of French motorcycle racer Andre Chermin who raced it during the 1930’s through to the 1950’s. His name and address are recorded on the copy of the original French log book from 1934 which comes with the bike as well as a copy of an original French parts manual. Unfortunately, the DVLA would not let me keep the original when I obtained the V5 for it. The bike has been used mainly for shows and parades and comes with the French Declaration de Cession Vehicle paperwork and the Nova number. The copy of French logbook still bears the original French registration number which also comes with the bike. Its currently fitted with the Villiers S24 carburettor which is easier to set up and manage in modern traffic although it comes with the original AMAC type 15 Carburettor.
