1979 Lotus Esprit. This is Number 61 of 100
special JPS editions, built between October 1978
and
March 1979 to celebrate Lotus winning the 1978
Formula One World Championship.
Purchased by the current owner in 2012 since
which time it has attended many car shows
stretching from the Isle of Wight to Cholmondley
in Cheshire and has won several awards.
It was also featured in the ‘Cars’ Magazine 50th
Anniversary edition and had a six-page feature in
Classic Cars Magazine. It was also featured in the
Omologato Sports Watch advertisements.
It was last serviced by Paul Matty Sports Cars
where it received a new set of timing belts and a new
stainless exhaust system.
