The car has been in my family from new. There is a complete service history including the original sale invoice. The car has an MOT till 3 of March 2023 but will have no problem passing again this year. The road fund licence is due at the same time.
My wife purchased the car in September 1990, and the vehicle has since covered 116240 miles. The engine some 10,000 miles less as it was replaced under warranty at the end of the first year. The first ten years of the car’s life were spent being used by her as the family run around. After a very brief period in my son’s ownership the car was passed to me in 2000. My work made me a daily commuter into London and so the vehicle was rarely used outside of weekends for the next nineteen years. It was garaged during this period. In 2019 I retired and since it has been used in the manner described above. It has continued to be diligently garaged. My wife on finding that she had purchased a vehicle with lackluster performance with the 1300 cc engine named the vehicle “Horace” with which it continues to be known in the family.
